Artist Biography

Katie McClintock is a female photographer based in Melbourne, Australia.

Katie completed her Bachelor of Creative Arts (Photography) at Deakin University, and graduated with Distinction.

She currently works as a Photography Team Leader at one of Victoria’s leading photography companies and is skilled in Dance, Sport, School, Preschool & Large Group Photography.

Katie has built her own successful freelance photography business outside of her Team Leader position.

Katie McClintock Photography offers Wedding, Newborn, Families, Maternity, Engagement & Event Photography.

In addition to her business she has a Fine Art practice specialising in analogue technologies, with a focus on experimental and colour positive films. The night is a reoccurring theme in her work, with Katie finding intrigue in neon and fluorescent lights. She also produces work of portraits, the natural landscape & the urban landscape.

Katie’s work has been published in Wordly Magazine (Forward, Atmosphere, Power, Erupt, Revive and Core editions) and Verandah Journal 35.

She was selected by giggster.com as one of Cranbourne’s Top Family Photographers of 2021.

After placing in the top 10 for Analogue Wonderland’s Focus On The Positives and Think Outside The Boxspeed competitions, Katie is continuing to submit her work in global competitions in order to gain recognition for her work.
